Independent Media has appointed Chloe Hubbard as UK Editor of The Independent, following an 18month stint as Deputy Editor. She will report to global Editor-in-Chief Geordie Greig, overseeing the UK newsroom and advancing the publication’s mission to become the world’s leading news title.
The Independent is now the largest digital news brand in the UK and most popular British-born news site in the US. In addition to the appointment of Hubbard as Editor, Independent Media has also named Stephanie Fabb as the organisation’s Chief Data Officer.
