PPA unveils 2023 awards shortlist

The Professional Publishers Association (PPA) has unveiled the shortlist for its 2023 awards ceremony, which will this year take place at the City Central at the HAC. The awards programme includes the prestigious ‘Cover of the Year’ award, which – having been whittled down to ten possibilities by the judging panel – is now open for public vote.

The magazines vying for cover of the year, which is open until Friday 28th April, include:

  • Architects’ Journal – EMAP
  • Top Gear Magazine – BBC Studios
  • Campaign – Haymarket Media Group
  • Country Life – Future
  • Empire – Bauer Media Group
  • Harper’s Bazaar – Hearst UK
  • Lifestyle Magazine – Motability Wonderly & Haymarket Media Group
  • Management Today – Haymarket Media Group
  • New Scientist – Harmsworth Media
  • Radio Times – Immediate Media

Across a further 25+ categories, the association will recognise excellence across commercial, editorial, design, sustainability, and more.

The ceremony will take place on Wednesday 28th June, celebrating the outstanding achievements, innovation and progress made across the vibrant universe that is UK specialist media. The awards have been designed to reflect both B2B and consumer media sectors and companies both large and small, and you can find further details here.
