James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water will move to Disney+ on Wednesday 7th June, complete with bonus content featuring filmmakers, cast and crew. The film has previously shown at the box office and is currently available on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and various other streaming platforms.
The production first debuted in cinemas in December, becoming the third highest grossing movie of all toime globally, with $2.3bn in ticket sales. Nominated for numerous Academy Awards including Best Picture, Way of the Water also further pushed forward the gold standard for visual effects.
Indiana Jones and The Way of the Water
The latest Avatar instalment will also be joined on Disney+ by the Indiana Jones collection, as Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom, Last Crusade, and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull all head to Disney+ for streaming on Wednesday 31st May. The move comes as new Indiana Jones movie, The Dial of Destiny, prepares for its cinematic release at the end of June.
